The health and safety of our members and staff is of paramount concern to us at Freedom Credit Union. We are actively monitoring the news about the coronavirus COVID-19 and following recommendations from local, state and federal agencies.
Steps We’re Taking
We have taken a number of steps to help reduce the risk of infection in our 11 branches, including:
- Providing hand sanitizers for staff and members to use
- Routinely cleaning and disinfecting door handles, counters, desks and other public surfaces
- Requiring our cleaners to perform a deeper level of services
- Asking staff who are unwell stay home
How You Can Help
We are also asking for your help in protecting our community by not visiting our branches if you are ill, have been exposed to the virus or recently traveled outside of the country.
If you haven’t already done so, this is a great time to take advantage of our comprehensive mobile and online banking and loan services, including remote check deposit, online bill pay and direct deposit. You can easily enroll online. Not only will this allow you to practice social distancing, but you will save time and be able to bank when it is most convenient for you. You can also access thousands of surcharge-free ATMs through the AllPoint and SUM networks.
Here for You
We also understand that there may be instances where members find themselves facing financial difficulties as a result of this situation. As always, Freedom is here to help and encourage you to reach out to us so we can help find a solution for you.
