The mission of Griffin’s Friends is simple and heartfelt: to bring moments of joy to courageous kids. That’s a cause we can get behind and it’s why throughout the month of April, we are accepting cash donations at all our branches to support children with cancer in our community.
Donations will be accepted through Friday, April 30.
About Griffin’s Friends
Griffin’s Friends is a volunteer-led group dedicated to providing support to children with cancer. Founded in 1994 in Springfield, the charity is named for Griffin D. Kelleher who passed away from cancer when he was 14 months old. This group is his legacy, uniquely supporting children in treatment for cancer and their families.
Griffin’s Friends offers small acts of kindness to provide relief, hope, and support to local children with cancer and their families. Examples include trips to stage performances and sporting events; inpatient and outpatient entertainment; massage therapy; art supplies, computers, games, and other items for children undergoing cancer treatment; and more.
All funds raised throughout our April Month of Giving campaign will benefit the Griffin’s Friends Children’s Cancer Fund at Baystate Health Foundation, Inc. Thank you in advance for your support!
