Throughout the month of September, Freedom Credit Union raised more than $1,300 for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Locally, the event took place Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Holyoke Community.
“Month after month, we’re honored to witness our members and staff showing up generously in support of important causes—September was no different,” said Freedom Credit Union President Glenn Welch. “We are so proud to support the Alzheimer’s Association locally and contribute to the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research, with the hope of one day finding a cure.”
The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is held annually in more than 600 communities—it is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. It provides education and support to the millions of people who face dementia every day and advances critical research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.
