Throughout the month of November, we have been collecting cash donations at all our branches on behalf of the Westover Galaxy Community Council, which supports military service members and their families at Westover Air Reserve Base (ARB) in Chicopee. To celebrate the National Day of Giving 2023 on Tuesday, November 28, we’ll match donations made at our branches or through our donations page that day, up to a total of $2,500.
We’re grateful to everyone who has already donated, and we wanted to add a little extra incentive to give the total donation a boost. During the holidays, it’s especially hard for members of the military to be away from family and loved ones.
The Westover Galaxy Community Council works to ease this difficulty by offering special events and resources for members of the military and their families at Westover ARB, the largest air reserve base in the nation, home to more than 5,500 military and civilian workers.
